Sheryl underwood is a stand-up comedian as well as a host on television and performer from the United States. She's best known for her role as The Talk's co-host on the daytime. Born in Arkansas she was raised at Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised by an extremely difficult household. She was a troubled child. young life caring for her older sister Frankie who was afflicted by polio. When she was growing up, there were many arguments between her mother and father. Sheryl claims that in one instance her mother stabbed her father because he was getting too close to her. Sheryl was a soldier upon her graduation from college. Her passion for the military was comedy. She was selected as the first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search, held in 1989. Her first TV work in 1992 by having a frequent appearance as a performer on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She was a guest as host of Oh Drama! as the host in the year 2000. Then in 2011, she started participating as a co-host on The Talk as co-host. Also, she's appeared as an unnamed character on shows such as Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
