Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian and TV personality best known as the anchor of The Talk, a popular talk show broadcast on daytime television. Sheryl was born in Arkansas and was raised within Little Rock, Atwater, as well as Atwater. Sheryl is from the same family which has experienced a lot of problems. She was a child who spent a lot of time caring for her younger older sister Frankie. Frankie was a polio sufferer. She faced a lot of problems with her mother as she was growing up. Sheryl alleges that, at one point she was stabbed by her mother's father after he became close to Her. Sheryl became a member of the military soon after she graduated college. Sheryl's passion for comedy was evident. She was the first woman to win the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. Her TV professional career started in 1992, as a participant on the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000 she appeared as host of the television show Oh Drama! In 2011, she began participating as a co-host on The Talk as co-host. Also, she's appeared in fictitious programs like Bulworth Niki as well as Beauty Shop.
