Sheryl underwood is a stand-up comedian, television host, and performer from the US. She's best known for her role as The Talk's morning co-host. She was raised by Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes from a troubled family. Sheryl was raised by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered with Polio. Growing up, she had an uneasy relationship with her mother. Sheryl says that at one point her mother cut her dad because he got too close. Sheryl enlisted in the military after her college graduation. However, her love for comedy was always there. In 1989, she was the first woman to reach the finals in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. Her TV career started in 1992 as a participant on the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. She was a guest on Oh Drama! as the host in the year 2000. In 2011, she began being a co-host for the talk show The Talk. In addition, she has appeared as the fictional character in TV shows such as Bulworth Nicki and Beauty Shop.
